i randomly, obsessively felt the need to color this digitally. i don't think the robes turned out as well as the traditional-color version.....but i prefer the overall effect of this one. for one thing, i didn't have to fight the scanner just to get the colors to look right, lol -- and the glow effect was much easier digital. also, i'm satisfied with the addition of the sparkles (~screentones's Sparkle brush set).
i should have been writing papers/essays and studying for finals, but it wouldn't stop screaming through my brain until i'd colored it digitally. original lineart done with Sakura pens (the millennium and ZIG series), coloring done in openCanvas3 Plus, effects/text/sizing done in Photoshop 7. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
