Description
like it says: Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me About OpenCanvas
because i always see tutorials about making the art or doing effects on the art, but rarely about how to use the program itself.
please forgive the large size, but i wanted this to be thorough, detailed, and step-by-step. this is meant to be a tutorial for those who are just beginning to use openCanvas (or who have been using it but would like to learn more), so be aware that it is aimed at people who have no openCanvas knowledge.
PART TWO of the Layer Blending tutorials -- Difference through Luminosity.
this batch of blending calculations mostly revert -- that is, if there is a white space in the background layer, the foreground color will not alter at all. whereas the first batch was a set of "lighting" effects, this batch is a set of "manipulation" effects. these filters change the colors underneath them in various ways. Brighter and Darker, for instance are great for background effects. Saturation and Color are both great for doing emphasizing effects.
feel free to show this to your friends, or anybody curious about openCanvas! ^_^
